Ok guys, I bought my 5t used last fall, only drive it for about 3/4 of a tank before the steering servo died.
It seemed to run well for the time I was able to drive it. Started fine, idled good, etc.
I am just now getting around to replacing the servo and installing the kill switch.
Had the fuel lines off to pull the engine. When I tried to put them back on, the yellowish/translucent line was super stiff, and wouldn't go back on the nipple properly. I took a picture before I removed them, but it doesn't seem right to me. So my question is, does this look right?

usually its the yellow line to the upper barb and the black line to the lower barb fella,
lower barb is feed and upper is return,
but have a look in the tank to make sure somebody hasn't switched the filter/clunk to the yellow line instead of the black one first (y),
it should be filter/clunk on the black line going to lower barb and yellow to upper barb as return,

Well I pulled the old lines/clunk out of the tank, and the black line has the clunk on it, the yellow line stops just past the grommet. So it was connected wrong. Strange as it seemed to run ok for the short time I was able to drive it. Maybe a longer run time would have started acting up.
Had a heck of a time getting the grommet out, hope I didn't female dog up the hole too much. There is a small edge I can feel part way around. Not sure if I did it, or if it is just some mold flash that was already there. Do these grommets usually conform pretty well to the tank? Would it be wise to maybe run some fine sandpaper around the opening to make sure it's smooth? Or is it not worth the risk of increasing the id? Thanks if you read all that lol!

I had one of mine that was backwards from Losi , I don't recall if it was the DBXL or the 5T but they had the clunk in the tank on the yellow one.
Also think that black line is kind of cheezie , I would much rather see the clear yellow line on both.
