Oh, another thought. With a few mods done to that engine, say pipe, intake filter carb etc what do you think it is capable of reaching? 3.75 - 4hp?

Yes it would be very capable. You need to beef up your trany to
handle the extra hp. A lot of people just pull that motor and
sell it, then buy a zenoah that been modified. Its up to you
to decide tho, just have fun. :saddam:
 
I have the 26 in my baja. I think it has pretty good power. I run mostly onroad, so i cant tell how well it would do offroad. With a good pipe, im sure you would be happy with it.
 
I am running a 26 stock in both my off roads. I like the power and high revs it gives, not to mention the economy. with the jet pro pipe it goes good (mine are in fg's)
