gitzmmotors sale
Go to Gitzmmotors site and look closely @ the clutch shoe bolts he sells- Hex Heads- use a 6 point scocket on these guys- also eyeball the quality of the supplied bellville washers supplied with the bolts.- this is the good stuff.- The stock f-270 clutch shoes has 2 additional holes drilled tru the clutch shoe bodies- use these 2 holes to slide 2 long bolts tru- wedge a long tapered punch tru these holes- tighten -or remove the clutch shoe bolts with out torquing- twisting on the crank- no need to stress the piston with a stopper either- Yea, if ya have a drill press and a decent drill bit- I use colbalt bits and a x-y axis vise- drill your own holes in your shoes if need too. Frick the allen heads- Good idea to use a t-27 torque to replace the center hex head that bolts to the clutch side of the crank- HPI sells them tru a local hobby shop. My engines have only t-27s No washers required either. ! wrench to do the hole motor. To use the large head t-27s on a zen jug, 2 of these bolt heads need to be turned down slightly for the intake side of the zen jug. No big deal @ all. yea, check it all out- makes life e-z.
