75mhz i think is the US freq, the radio itself is a belting bit of kit and will do everything you need and more. there is the 4pk which is the next step up as it's newer, is 4 channel, lighter and does a few more things but for toy cars there is only so much you need a tranny to do.

Hope this helps

Mike

That's a good radio, just a little outdated. If you can afford the extra cash get one that's 2.4 ghz. Here's a couple links with info about those radios.
FM(75mhz)

2.4ghz

The fm version has come down a LOT in price since they released the 2.4g version, so it would be a good choice if you on a tight budget. If your looking at a used one, and it's not a PKS, it will be missing a couple functions listed on that page, but I'm not shure which ones.

Why is the 2.4ghz better? Convienience is probablly the biggest advantage of 2.4ghz systems. They automatically find the best frequency of 40 that are available. With an FM system you have to do it all yourself.

Great help guys:cup-1: I was worried, won it from fleabay for $ 91.00 plus 10 for shipping, come with three recievers , in good condiction. Thanks guys.

You've got a great deal, they are still one of the better radios you can get and I'm sure the instructions are on line if it doesn't come with any.

2.4ghz is becoming as much as a problem as 40 mhz was some years ago as every man and his dog uses it now and thats one of the reasons I've gone back to 40 mhz (UK equivelent to 75 mhz in the US)

Yes it does come with the instruction book. Thanks:)

bought my used but in great condition , with few upgrade, like the two speed, jetpro, 29cc, front disc brake, hiteck servos.

It's a fantastic unit. I will eventually upgrade to a 4pk, but in the meantime, I am running the FASST module and occasionally the Spektrum Pro module in mine. I love the radio. It is feature rich, but does take a while to learn to navigate. Battery life is great when using LiPo's and awesome on NiMh as well. I would recommend the FASST module over 75mhz simply for the upgraded resolution and interference reduction. You can run FASST with both the 603FF and 603FS receivers.
