Hey all, got a great deal on this radio from tower hobbies and it will be here tomorrow. What should I set my steering end points at?

By the way, I got it for $90 and free shipping. I didn't mind paying a little bit more over the price of the flysky since I got such a great deal.

There is no exact EPA to set. It is something you will have to do with your vehicle. Every vehicle will be different.

Is there points I shouldn't go beyond to avoid damaging the servo? Hitec 5765mg.

Start with epa at 100 and turn steering all way then adjust till it's not hitting anything....with my XBe, I had to take it down to around 80% so as to not hit the center drive cup...

Still very full turn radius though

Ok thanks. I'm hoping that, along with the new servo and a higher power battery will finally cure my bad turning issue.

The wait is the hardest part now. Also when I lost the servo screw on the t/b servo, I lost my linkage. Ugh!!! Tried to make a new set, but I instead ordered a new set. My homemade stuff wasn't going to be reliable enough for me.

Also put on the TGN velocity stack and the new dt1 triple filter. That alone looks badass!

I know how you feel, I lost the set screw (lack of loctite) on my MT brake lever and lost the lever, had to order another...

You'll want to tighten up the servo saver some when you get the Hitec in...get some pics up when done...

It's in. Been in since the 2nd tank. Didn't even think to use loctite on that screw. Learned my lesson. Got the screws, linkage shipped today. I should be up and bashing by the weekend.

Got everything installed and buttoned up. New 7.2v battery for the 5765 servo. Got some things to do today so can't run it right now. Will do that this week though. Love the radio.

I like all the features it has. Can't wait to test out the abs. Just wish the LCD screen was backlit.

I have been thinking of dropping the coin on the 3pl. I like my flysky but being able to center the servos with the subtrim is a great feature and the flysky lacks it at least unhacked

I didn't even know it had that. It does have steering EPA for each side though which I thought was interesting.
