futaba or spektrum

sup guys am still running the stock 2.4ghz radio and receiver that comes with the rampage mt!


i've been looking at some new controlers


and was wonder if any one of you good fellow drivers could give some advice on those two brands, how compatible they are! there's some good deals on the spektrum for 99 bucks free shipping with a receiver


as for the futaba i've been looking at the 3pk seems nice but don't know nothing about it, as far as i noticed i think they probably use the same kind of module/receiver?

I just got a Futaba 3PM no complaints from me, great radio.

I use a Spektrum DX2.0 without any issues. It's your money, buy what your budget allows.

My buddy runs a Spektrum 3.0 and has range issues at half the distance of my Futaba


Although the Spektrum has telemetry


I would still go for the Futaba though


I prefer not to have to run after my baja as the killswitch has cut off due to range

I use a dx3s spektrum. I chose spektrum because of the cost of the reciever. Sr 300 $49. I have 5 trucks ,4 are using the spektrum recievers.

can you run one radio and 4 different receivers with the spektrum radio?

i know that one works with different receivers on one transmiter!

I wouldn't use a Traxxas system in a 5th scale. There's no kill switch available for them.
