Gear ratio

The dunerunner comes with three extra gears. I'm assuming they are for changing the gear ratio. Which gear would be the one for faster top speed or faster speed off the line? And, which gear is already pre installed on it from the factory? Thanks

Mine came with extra plastic gears as that's whY it used to come with
