Can someone enlighten me which is which

Clutch bell gear is called = ? and the gear this drives is called = ?

Then on the layshaft there is another gear I thought this was the pinion gear, then there is the diff cog.

the gear on the end of the clutch bell is the Pinion, and the gear it meshes with is a Spur.

the gear on the laysaft is usually called a idler gear or something similar.
