Last time I ran my HPI Baja was at The Barnyard. They're for sale now.

So, yeah, going 4wd.

Still waiting for parts, but the big items are here, so, see how this goes.

Box says Rovan Baha 5S 36cc, haven't found any model number. I haven't really found much info about this rig, manual calls it a Power Racing Truck. Center diff and one front and rear, shaft drive.
Rovan tracks and Redcat Rally body.

So, I tried this last year and got to the end of the yard and the clutch got wet and that was it. It took a while to find an enclosed clutch carrier and when I went to put it on, I saw how much machining it needed. Then I started putting the body mounts on and had lots more fun. Glad I have a lathe and mill.
And the end result of my work! Really stressful cutting a brand new body when I look at the price of them now.
