Hello!
has anyone tried to mount the prefilter on this model?
There are some issues with motor mount and layshaft gear...

Thanks!

Outterwears will fit your 2wd 100% I have one on mine. Idk why this mesh mod gets so much praise, I tried it over the winter being cheap and it sucked. Grass just clogged the holes and was a pia to clean. Outterwears are like a nice easy diaper, un velcro and throw in the wash.

May you show me how do you install it? The main problem is the very little space between the layshaft gear and the crank case.

It's all about the mesh size you use, and I just blow it off with air after I'm finished with my run. Can't say it's ever been an issue for me to clean easily, and it's never come off.

Just checked my Marder (it's in pieces) and it seems I stole the crankcase cover for my Baja. What I did was glue a small piece of velcro to the crankcase and on outterwear that's in front of gear so to have less slack and no/limited contact. There's enough room there (y)

I used a window screen sized mesh, tiny holes.
