So I've had the leopard out for it's second run and it was great, I noticed that it sounded boggy at times, if I give it like 70% throttle it was flying but if I give it 100% it would sound like it's struggling, very strange to hear but could need a carb service, I have new cheap carbs so will use one for process of elimination.
After 30mins of flying around it lost drive, it's blown the plastic 44 gear off the shaft so I want to upgrade to metal gears, at this time I noticed that it also sounded like the clutch was slipping too, ran to the buggy and the clutch bell was spinning like the clutch was stuck open and the clutch bell was blue in colour so it's been extremely hot.
I have a new 8k clutch on order and I have a vented clutch bell in my spares I will fit.
My question is where can I get metal gears from it's running a 20t clutch gear so I'm presuming it needs a 44t rear?
I've come across this alloy set but not sure if alloy is a good choice.

Or does anyone know where to find steel gears at decent prices
Any help is much appreciated
