I contacted Hobby Partz - about the charger jack on the Fly-sky FS-GT3B transmitter. I needed to know if the pin was + positive on the charging jack. The pin is hot-+ positive. The tech said not to use this charger jack. He said they have had lots of complants about the transmitter overheating as the Ni cads and-or NMH batterys are charging. SO, I contacted Radio Shack, they have a 8 AA battery holder for $3.00. Better safe than sorry I figure. Just a heads up for every one.

This is just a guess-- I do not think the Fly-Sky FS-GT3B transmitter has a problem with the circutry. It could be over heating from people not setting up the quick chargers correctly. I ordered a Dynamite Phropet 2 charger several days ago. I am a newbe to this product - I will spring for a 8AA battery holder and charge out of the transmitter. If a person uses a non-underwriters labbrotory approved device - UL listed, and the house catches fire --- The insurance company could, well you and your loved ones could be up a sh#t creek -- non payment. Also, on more and more stuff I buy, there is an emblim that says --- C E. this means that it has been approved by the Europen Union. E U. Pardon my spelling agan - D.B. aka A. Numan.

I use the adapter that came with the XB-E and the adapter from my e-flite blade 400sr to charge my flysky's... It works for me... and it hasn't melted anything yet.. (I have two flysky's)

+1 I have 2 flysky and have always charged my battery in the radio itself I have had 1 for over a year with charging and never had a problem.

fly sky

i just parrot what the tech dude told me. for all i know, people could have been trying to recharge alkaline or carbon cells.
