Recently Bought a Losi mtxl, and was looking at work stands for it... wow they are pricey, has anyone made one from steel or off or anything for that matter? I have a bunch of 1x1 and 1x2 steel tubing. Going to build one next week if I can't find an alternative. Pics of home made ones or cheaper alternatives are welcomed

Depending on your height, you might find the keyboard stand hard work, I recently purchased a Dynamite rc workstand, awesome piece of kit. :)

    I use a bar stool.
Rotates 360 and is height adjustable.
    Cost $20 at Krap Mart.

I've looked at them, but way over priced.

That is actually a good idea, I'm going to check the rigid one out in a few days and see how that is. I'll look at a few bar stools as well. Definitely a good cheap idea.

The best part is it turns back into a bar stool at Jack o'clock. SDC10162.JPG

That's slick, maybe I'll go that route. When you say crap mart, are you referring to Wal-Mart or Kmart :D

    KMart here in Aus.
    Walmart may have them.
We don't have Walmart down here.

The turn-buckles draw in the side arms which pinch on the chasis. It pivots and locks on a ball joint.
