Google searches are great aren't they!

I had to do a term paper on 2 strokes and pipe efficiency back in school. But when I was in school, there was no Google, there was only ask.com which was lousy to say the least! Back when a 14.4 baud modem was cutting edge technology :lol:I used to ask Jeeves why he sucked so bad and I would get all kinds of responses!

don't worry, i remember the days when a 33.6kbps was a wicked fast modem. just saw an add on tv the other day for a smart phone that gets 14.4mbps data transfer.

14.4 baud was 14,400 bits per second... That 33 you mentioned was over twice as fast as the 14.4!

I guess I am really starting to show my age...:lol:

i wasnt privileged enough to have a computer when 14.4 was cutting edge, i got my first pc when 33.6 was just out. i now wonder how anyone could wait so long to load a web page but in reality it wasnt so much longer cause webpages had a lot less graphics and no flash.
