I know there is a mod on the HPI Savage, by shaving some parts of the steering knuckle, you can get a slightly better angle on the front wheels.

you cant get an 2wd steering angle for 4wd,-dogbones will not bend;),and in my opinion also mcd does not turn better,maybe your problem is setup,set the toe little more to negative and it will turn better.
 
Ive always thought the rampage steered great compared to other 4wd 1/5 scales....


If you wanna see a bad steering angle I could post a vid of one of my old 4wd buggies. It was horrible, I barely could turn enough to stay on LargescaleRC's track! :D
