HPI 2 stroke oil

I've noticed whenever the subject of 2 stroke oil comes up, HPI brand seems to never be mentioned. Where does it rank? Good, bad ,so so?

Most of us use top end oils like Klotz or Amsoil which are a synthetic / castor blend and gives much better film strength at high rpm and less carbon deposits.

HPI---100 ml bottle $12
Klotz & Amsoil---1L bottle $25-$30

I'm not a mathematician but even I can do the math

Yeah Dwarfy,,,same here bud,,,,that's why I reckon no one uses it or mentions it.

I used the little bottle that came with my baja the first time, and then got a full liter of synthetic and never looked back. I mix it 5 gallons at a time..

yea the hpi stuff, like everything hpi, its around $9/100ml, or a bottle of fully synthetic is $12/L
