hydro dipping nylon plastics

hi is it possible to have your plastic parts ie: suspension arms /lower arms ect hydro dipped in chrome effect.. has any of you guys ever heard of this been achieved... thanks

I'm sure it's possibly but IDK about doing suspension parts. Those hydrodip films are super thin and not very tough so not sure how they would hold up

hi and thanks for the reply. ive some spare old rc suspension parts im going to experiment with. then a good few layers of laqure see how it goes

Krylon makes some tough chrome spray paint for plastics you should give a try too. Easier to touch up the dings
