I need a vid of the brakes

Could anyone that has their car opened up take a vid showing the brakes work so I can see how they're supposed to work on an xt? The brakes on both my xt's don't do squat & they are being pushed as far back as they go. I need something to compare mine too so I can see what's going on.

check your two grub screws on the back of your brake assembly. if theyve wiggled out, youll get no pressure on your brake pads

Those screws are on the bearing holder to the left of the pinion, near the center ring gear.

If you look thru from the left side, you can see it.

Not easy to get to.

Were they the set screws? I noticed when I replaced the pinion carrier that the plastic one had set screws.

Yes those are the set screws they are talking about.

u might have to use washers to take up some play between the pads.

Yea you pretty much are going to need those if you want to stop with the brakes. lol
