Hi,

In the market for a new radio for my MT. I've been using a 1980s Futaba magnum Jr. It just does not have the range I'm looking for and it just seems way out of date. Can anyone suggest a new one?

Thanks

Nomadio , Futaba Fassst radio ,, Spektrum 3.0 anything 2.4 DSM but in the end you want something that comfortable for You !!
i liked the the feel of the 3.0 myself at the time i bought mine

I have a DX2.0 and it is great. Good range and it does not have regulated voltage output to the servos. You will get the full voltage your pack outputs.

I am using a Spectrum DX3R and I am very happy with it, I had some issues with one reciever I picked up and tried to bind and it would not bind-brand new 1 day old.

Any way I got some real bad customer service. Horizon Hobby was no help!

My LHS finally just gave me another one after them thinking about how much $$$ I have spent there.

So bottom line is good product-Crappy customer service.

Thanks for the help I bought a Spectrum DX3R with a SR3100 Receiver. Is it a plug and play or will I need to do anything else?

I've been using a Spektrum DX3 and love how easy it is to setup and use, I'd recommend it to anyone.

All the best, I am planning on the 4PK. I will tell you how it goes when I get it.

Well I got my DX3R and hooked it all up and even put in a new Hitec 5955TG servo in for the throttle/brake. When I was messing around with 5955TG I failed to notice my Hitec HS-805BB steering servo was getting very hot just sitting there and is now shot. The steering is really slow now. I have a spare HS-805BB servo and it works in it but Im am worried Im going to burn that up to. The Radio frame rate was set at 5.5ms I switched it to 11ms and my spare HS-805BB seems to be staying a little cooler. With that set on 5.5ms the cause that servo to burn up? With it set on 11ms wouldn't that defeat the purpose of the 5955tg? Did I hook something up wrong maybe?

The 4pk is stunning, the rep from ripmax uk let me hold one recently and it feels well nice.
I wish I was not a stick person as I would have liked one of those, easy to use too.

Mine will be delayed for another 2 to 3 weeks.
