Looking to replace the intake manifold when i swap out to a better WT carp. Are these 'tall' versions all hype, or worth the cash. They have stock size for $29.00, on up to the super tall shown here.

Weather tall or short, is aluminum the best idea? You know how RC stuff and aluminum goes, its automatically assumed the best option. Sometimes it isn't worth the costs, or causes it's own issues.

I run the short. Im still running the stock 30.5. I figured I would not see a difference on a stock HY. When i upgrade the motor I would consider the tall one. I figure it would be worth a try. The coolest thing about the aluminum intakes is actually the Teflon gaskets they come with.
 
Another added benefit is they won't warp or crack like the stock plastic intake. That's the main reason I bought an ADA intake. As far as tall/short, I doubt you'd see any noticeable power gains.
