Ive been in the RC hobby over 20 years and it's been fun until now. Last year I decided to swap the Bartolone Racing Zenoah 32 into my Rampage MT. I had it in my arovan Baha (yes Baha) and it ran extremely well. Now theres been multiple issues. 2 more things is that the engine doesn't sit flush because 1. the carb is sitting on the plate that goes over the center diff. 2. the back of the pull start wants to rest on the plastic piece that holds the gas tank down. So I need to raise thevingine about 1½ inches to clear things. I thought about using a bunch of washers as a shim but that isn't working. Im at my wits end and kinda done with this but would love to get this crap going for once. Thanks

From the pic, it looks like you have a reed case engine. I'm not sure what kind of pull start you have and have no experience with Redcats.

The first issue you have 2 choices as I am not sure how raising the engine will affect everything else or if it is even possible. The easiest fix would be to install a regular engine since the reed case block's carb position is hitting the center diff housing. Or if there is room to grind material from the center diff to clear the carb.
As for the pull start clearance issue, without any pics, I would say fab another fuel tank bracket.
