Ok, I'm new to this. I understand the logic of having a kill switch and am trying to install one in my T1000 before running it.
Removed the plastic skid plate and cover off the pull start. Removed the two screws from the top of the fan housing, the two bolts from the bottom of the fan housing and the two bolts on either side of the fan housing. Fan housing still doesn't move. On the two bolts on the side there are additional parts that appear to be holding the fan cover from coming off? Any other parts that need to be removed to get the fan cover loose?
