hi i have a baja with the dynamite kill switch. it won't cut off the motor. it appears to work fine otherwise, can get the arming led to turn off when i adjust the third channel, will turn off if i turn off the transmitter. it just won't kill the motor lol, it'll start when the light isn't on. is the kill switch bad? everything else on the car works great.

if it was only that why would it not work if i turned the radio off? isn't it supposed to be that if there's no light the motor can't run period?

So here's an observation why fault something that is working properly but not look at yourself for how you installed it? The answer is clear as day and i already said it. And for the dud yes I had one go on me gracefully but this scenario is the op's fault for not binding the radio system with the 3rd channel bound as a secondary fail safe. Depending on the radio your using which is the next question....which is?? And finally if you search I myself have wrote numerous times on how to properly bind the dynamite killswitch

um it has been working fine for years before this. the radio is a futaba 4pls

Um, did you mention that? No so how am I supposed to know that? At this point re bind it as you did when it worked and if not toss it and get a new one

..I've had 3x gt3b`s here for the last 10-15 odd years on 3x of mine...and i thk u gota set fail safe on the rx with that little black pokey thing....i thk.....i was correct....
