Killer Bee and Spektrum

I got a DX5C and a 6200A Rx
For life of me I can’t get killer Bee to work properly, obviously it works fine with the Aux key on the Tx, no issues there, but when I turn off the DX5C it doesn’t kill the engine.
I’ve turned off the AVC, rebound, even held the Aux key in the off position during bind process as per the FAQ on Killer RC website, still no luck
Killer Bee is on the default dip switch settings

Maybe if you used the search function here you would find that your wasting your time. Avc and killswitches DO NOT mix.
As I said in my post, I’ve already disabled AVC as per Spektrum instructions, and can confirm the AVC is disabled

I am not at home where I can look right now but the main guy at killer RC emailed me a work around that worked for me. I will hunt it up later today and post it.

That would be great, thanks
Oh wow you responded to your own thread for once. And rep is right, doesn’t matter if you disable avc it’s still an avc reciever. And it would be dumb to do a “work around” on something like a Killswitch. Buy a sport receiver like this one I run https://www.horizonhobby.com/produc...6clG3RTj9vgIFHkt9JhUKcbImEcVVP5BoCIZ0QAvD_BwE
Use the search feature to set it up we have been over that many times here… there’s one in my l5b build thread I think
Maybe if you used the search function here you would find that your wasting your time. Avc and killswitches DO NOT mix.
And as I've said in my previous post, Avc recievers and killswitches do not work at all. You can disable whatever you want but it still will not work

And this is the problem, if you can't produce the documents you promised to resolve his issue you shouldn't post as you have no useful information to provide. Reading that thread appears to be alot of beating around the bush and far more hassle than paying $60 bucks for the right reciever and being DONE and resolving the issue in a matter of a car ride and 10 minutes of install time, but you are right @foundryratjim your way makes so much sense im sorry I didn't think of it myself

Actually things have changed it seems. This is from P7 of the instruction manual for the 6200A receiver (y)

http://spektrumrc.com/ProdInfo/Files/SPMSR6200A-Manual-EN.pdf

DISABLING AVC TECHNOLOGY AVC
AVC may be disabled during binding.
1. Connect power to the receiver and quickly press and release the bind button three times (within 1.5 seconds).
2. Connect power to the receiver, power on, press and release the bind button three times (within 1.5 seconds from the first push).

When the AVC system has been disabled, the LED on the receiver will show three flashes upon power up, and then remain lit. The receiver is bound and operating normally when the LED remains illuminated.

TIP: If the AVC feature in the receiver is active and the AVC menu in the transmitter is Inhibited, AVC functions will default to the AUX 1 and AUX 2 operation, and in this scenario, AVC will not work correctly.

Selecting INH in the AVC menu on your transmitter will not disable AVC
