Hi guys, just a build thread of my x2 at the moment. Just changed the oil in the rear diff or lack of I should say. But having trouble getting the diff back into the gearbox. Can’t see where it’s fouling as it’s pushed down as far as you can see on the sides. If anyone can shed any light on this would be appreciated.

I will be rebuilding the middle and front in the next couple of weeks, and the Hitec d845 will be going to steering but the throttle died after first outing.

I don't own a losi or losi clone, but I thought I'd share a suggestion. Is the pinion and it's bearings pushed all the way back? Did you shim it too much (that is, if you shim it at all, again I don't own a losi so idk)?

Yes was down to inserts in the end, managed to get the rear end rebuilt. Ended up going with 30k oil in the rear. Modified rc tower, and fast lane chassis braces. Only thing I’ve come across now is the JS cv protectors, the cap head screw isn’t long enough to go through. Will pick some up in the morning and finish rear end off.

Can anyone advice on how these front shock towers sit, as I’m having clearance problems with the turnbuckles hitting the steering column? Also with it slanted having trouble with getting these shocks back in, it’s a modified rc tower.

Cheers for that just what I was looking for, will take it apart again tomorrow and have another go at it, but looking at your shots the shock tower doesn’t sit flat against the diff case as it’s stepped, so will sit flat at the top but have a big gap at the bottom?

?Just curious, what are the ty-raps on the shocks for?
to hold his socks up??
