King motors t1000 questions

Hey guys I've been running her a little hard lately and have noticed a couple weak points. I've looked around but can't really seem to find a good upgrade. Can anyone suggest a good place to start? I've been bending these rear upper arm set screws..

Get the KillerRC turnbuckle kit, I punish my truck, and they have held up well.

Most hardware stores sell a flange which can be cut to fit and works as reinforcement over the bolt.

Usually copper or a aluminum cylinder with washers on each side will do as well.

It happened to me once. The problem is that usually the arm has to be replaced cause it strips the thread getting loose under load.

It sure was lots of fun. I beat my RCs, they get bashed, not trashed. A trip to Ace Hardware and 5 dollar fix.

I've snapped two of those. Bought genuine HPI replacements and no problems since then.
