My motor has been giving me problems for some time now. i been through about 10 ngk plugs since i got the car brand new about 5 months now. i had a brand new 30.5 motor off of a redcat mt i wanted to know would it be the same motor or is the redcat motor not a clone motor.

probably similar,, both im sure come from china,, redcats is a hy,,, I have one off my xsc ,, had it on my km/baja never had a problems except for too much Loctite from factory,,,, had to heat up to get bolts out,,, but its a cy clone,, parts are interchangeable,,, if u going thru plugs,, check your tunning,, maybe u are running it way to rich.. heck ive gone thru 8 plugs breaking in my obr prostock,,, in last cpl weeks

I wasted a plug breaking in my Zenoah engine, since then no problems and have 1 1/2 gallons in it. Are you oil fouling the plug out? Need some more info on the failure...

Try this. Set your high and low speed screws all the way in. Back your high speed out 1 1/2 turns. Back your low speed out 1 1/4. Use the low speed to set your idle. Use small adjustments for each. If it bogs when giving it gas, turn the high speed in. If it pops and sputters, it is lean and needs to be richened.

Make sure you warm the engine up before making any adjustments
