looking to get 1/5th scale rc

yah its big allright. bout the same size as the stocker , pretty darn close. only issue on mounting it is, the mount tabs are wider than the stocker, so you have to use either the PA which is ready made for it, or mod the stock mount to fit. i decided on ready to go PA mount. nice thing its alloy over the stocker plastic, which gives more support and strength to whole front.

i will most likely get the parts you posted to make things easier to do:D
 
i have to send the receiver in, when i opened box intially i discovered the antennae wire had a pinched spot and closer look i see it has a cut, at least in the grey outer covering. my range testing im not happy with. after seeing vids of 1500 feet max, i know i should get at least 1000 feet. im barely getting 500 to 550 before the killer bee singanled me it was losing reception. and without bee on, i seen the Rxled blip red a lil ways before the Bee told me it lost it.

so im thinkin the antennae is screwed. instead of waiting weeks to get the Rx back or replaced or whatever Futaba decides to do, i just got another R614FF off ebay. i can use the one im sending in later, as a backup or another RC maybe the swamp buggy i wanna do.

dude that sucks at lest you have a spare now:D my dog ate one of my controllers once:lol:
 
actually i meant im not getting but round 250 maybe 300, i was thinking something else when i typed that. but yah if the new ones range is more than i get now, then old one is definately screwed and will be sent in for replacement. just wished i didnt really need to spend a 100more for a new Rx. but i look at it like this, i will have one as a spare, OR use it on the big swamp buggy im thinkin of getting.
