Losi 5T 2.0 Steering

Hey guys, the stock steering servo for the 5T 2.0 just falls short for this really nice truck.

Has anyone here installed a push/pull steering system on 5t 2.0? or upgraded a 5T 2.0 to dual servo?

I'm seeing a lot a lot kits for push/pull and dual servo but not specific to 2.0, does the 1.0
kit fit the 2.0?

Seems like a push/pull with a stronger servo is the most simplest way to tackle this, any recommendations?

The dual servo setup in these losi's fights itself and sounds like a pia to get right. Push pull is the way to go. Cheap enough upgrade and much simpler to install.


I'm not even sure if there is an upgrade option for dual servos on the 5t

I’ve been running the exact same setup in both my 5T and 5B. Plenty of torque and no fade. I’m a true believer in push-pull setup. I run the Spectrum 9120 which has the most torque in its class. Not cheap but cheaper than two servos.

Nice! You can still add the push pull arm setup without too much trouble. Servo torque is the most important thing.

Thank you guys, looks like a strong servo with a push pull system is in my future. My MTXL has a dual losi servo and it does hum quite a bit. The DBXL 2.0 gas has a push pull but i haven't even broke it in yet, im hoping this will help me figure out which way to go. Leaning towards push pull. Thanks again.

Look into getting the agfrc servo for 1/5 scale brushless and it's cheaper than others in the same class ....... I got two for both positions and they work excellent can't say enough and no more hum at all
