Picked up a Losi DBXL-E off a buddy. He used it twice then put it on the shelf.
I have ordered a bunch of upgrades and am very excited for this build. I figured I should get an early start on it to speed up the process. So I tore the rear end down and replaced the stock plastic diff case with a GTBRacing aluminum case. The front end will be getting the same treatment. Waiting for the rest of my parts to start assembling the rear back togetheršŸ˜€IMG_0749.webpIMG_0751.webpIMG_1018.webpIMG_1021.webp

Received many parts in the mail yesterday, unfortunately they forgot a couple. Had to reach out via email and get things sorted out. Got the bulkheads built, steering bellcrank installed, and front and rear chassis brace installed. Only have pics of the bulkheads at the moment. IMG_1073.webpIMG_1072.webp

How fast is it ?
Well I'm still waiting for the end

This is a heavy rig. The stock motor performs well for its speed. We know many later go with bigger motors. Seeing this rig at stock speed is still fast. Also, it can be dangerous if you lose control as speed increases. It's very fun stock! Some do, but I just outgrow it. (y)

50+mph on stock electronics.

Waiting on parts to finish the build up!

Good upgrades. This is a great rig. However, Losi does need help with the diffs due to the weight and flex. Shimming is key as well once you upgrade the diff bulkheads. I feel aluminium hubs help this rig as well.

One of my favorite rc’s love that thing , I run a castle momba 1100kv at it tears up everything , very good on cornering at high speeds
