Had a nice flat out crash into a tree today directly on the left front corner.
Broken top shock shaft mount, ARB popped off, Top control arm popped off and driveshaft sheared half a pin which I think is where it embedded it self into the lower arm.
Started a parts order but the only thing I'm unsure off is what's going on the lower arm.
There is now lateral play in the lower arm on the pin and you can see maybe .5mm off space either side whereas the other side is tight.
I'm going to replace arms pins and maybe braces etc but didn't know if there's any reason this could be other than a bent chassis but it has front and rear braces and a atop skidplate so this seems unlikely.
This is the only the 4th real run I've given it as the first time I took it out I nearly decapitated my foot so have been out of action for 3 weeks.
Thanks

I can tell you what everyone here is gonna tell you, from my experience. Order a kill switch. Also if it was flat out head on crash you can remove front bulkhead and use a flat ruler to check for a bent chassis. Just lay it across the bottom at different angles. I had a similar situation, but it’s hard to tell what’s going on with yours without pics or video. Good luck!

I have a kill switch fitted thanks.
This is what I mean.

Both pivots straight but arms and pins bent not by alot but enough to create that gap.
Not overly concerned anyway all stripped straighten best I could and rebuilt I'm happy enough with it.
