LOWERING REDCAT RAMPAGE XT BODY?

How far can you lower the body without the pipe melting the body.i like to lower it to the the black plastic pieces so you can't see the motor and stuff.
 
From the design of the roll cage, I don't think lowering the body is an option. Just my opinion.
