I have a non-gas Losi DBXL-E 2.0. I like the MadMax Giant Grip tries on the DDM site. What I do not know from the YT videos I have seen:

For the Losi:
1. Do I need belted
2. Do I need a non-belted version
3. Any share the weight of either if you know

Any help in usage, preference, or on that tire for the DBXL-E would be very helpful, please.

Thx

I am sharing this for anyone who finds this years later, as I did, and asking this question again...

DDM emailed back saying a package 2x tires weight:
Belted = 2.84lb
Non-belted = 2.54lb

Roughly but if I divide that by two, the belted tire is 1.42lb (644g) and non-belted (1.27lb)

I currently run the Masher X HP belted tires on my Losi DBXL-E 2.0, which one tire weight is:
652g

Putting a "stock" Losi tire on my scale, I get:
682g est 1.50lb

In both cases, a belted tire (Masher X and MadMax Giant belted) is still lighter than a stock tire. Now that is the win for me there!

It helped me, and I hope this helps others years later. I was reading topics from 2020 and 2021 about the MadMax Giant tires.

Thx Fam!

Oh wow! I stand corrected. I did not weigh them at the time, but it sure felt like the Giant Grip were heavier. When hitting jumps, the Giant Grips provided much more in-air correction. The first few times I overcorrected because I was used to the stock tires. I just threw my belted Giant Grips on the scale and they weighed in at 1.39lb. ( I use these on my Kraken Vesla).

Sweet, and thank you for doing that and for the extra confirmation, Sir 👍
