MCD Truck info needed...

Hey all, ive just come over from a Baja5b and have a new MCD Truck on the way.

Anyway me question is what needs doing to a Proline MCD MT?

I have the radio gear and ordered a blinged up 30.5 engine and 3x hitec MG servos and an RX Pack. I saw somthing about steel gears?

Any advice would be great....

Steel gears are available in 26 and 23 teeth, these are the last 2 gears in the gearbox. Did you also order the pipe?

Steel gears are also available in 24 and 25 teeth, remember the Alloy Gear-plate........You will need it sooner or later.....

on this web there was a manual but now it seems to link to another page on the site any way if you get your self over there then the lads will help

Steel gears 23/26

Servo tray, aluminum one


Tank supports I made these, but MCD makes them too.

If it EVO III make sure you have a spare set of lower controll arms, and also make sure the droop setting grub screws are set properly.

Rear bumper I made to protect my JP pipe

Vertigo aluminum gear plate, damn he makes some beautiful stuff

a set of rubber sealed ball bearings for the MCD's the ones in the MCD's are metal shielded and require some cleaning and re lubbing

Another Vertigo part, centre gear carriers

Not all nescessary but over time I'm sure you'll have it all done. lol
