My 2012 Hpi 5t platform that will be transformed in the coming week or so.
40gt with goodies. Only thing I need to order is rear wheels and probably a wheely bar. Thinking bebop wheely bar and taylor lightweight superspikes.

Yeah nice
Personally i would go with the BRP super spikes, or if you really want the genesis wheels, then the crosscutters. The genesis spikes are renound for traction rolling when turning, they just have too much grip and no give at all. Not so bad on a 5iveT or hybrid, but not the Baja

The cross cutter pattern sucks, no traction. Much better off with brp spikes or the alx spikes. So far the alx spikes are my favorite, and you can choose any losi or rear baja 5b sized wheels. The alx ones are very stiff with awesome traction and have held up to my 96 eith no problem

So should I have to tap all the bearings on to the Taylor rc titanium layshaft? Tolerances seem way too tight.?.??? Normal?
I could see this being a pain in the ass especially when mounting the gear plate.

320 emery cloth did the trick. Wasn’t easy and i used 4 foot of emery but it slides off decently easy and is slop free
