Last goodie in. The older irc hd bones and cups are junk. Nothing but binding. Alx fan for life now. These are awesome and buttery smooth.

My new irc hd bind like crazy! I have limit straps cranked in lots. Full droop isn’t much droop. I was hoping after a few tanks they would looosen up a bit.

I just might have to try a set of those.

The ALX godzilla bones are buttery smooth and pins are huge

Are the kraken extended arms a bit shorter than flm arms or similar billet extended arms? I only get 60% of suspension travel before the dogbones bottom out in the cups. The suspension wont even bottom out to the chassis hitting the floor.
Seems like these kraken arms wont work.

Same length. Pins could have a high spot, or the cups may have something going on. My alx setup did the same thing, I had to do some grinding.

I’ll look closer at mine this evening. Waiting on bearings for my Sym steer. It appears the articulation isn’t great. But maybe they will beat them selves into shape after a few tanks?

Mine is pretty bad. Im going to get out today if this ice storm isnt too bad and go buy some grinding tools and do some work to the inside of the cups.

Just to confirm, mine will fully compress, and the chassis will touch the ground

Ended up grinding 1.5mm off of each end of the dogbones. Now it easily has full travel length with absolutely zero binding.
Nothing a angle grinder couldn’t handle in about 20 minutes time.
I was really stressing about this but it was simple to fix.

Found these at the lhs today. Great for the brp wheel nuts they are locking and serrated.
