Mirror chrome shell

Hi all ave any of use sprayed a shell in that mirror chrome??

Cant say Ive ever seen 1? A wrap would probably be a better finish plus it would help hold the shell together!!

I have a band of 'chrome' on my 1/5 McLaren F1 GTR.
Job was excellent and still looks good now.

External paint or wrap?
Nice idea, but the first knock and it's scratched off.

Good for show and shelf queens I suppose.

Internal paint I ave seen them on utube look good. I think it would be okay on the fg baja shell cos u got the roll cage to protect it.

I have seen quite a few of my customers use it it looks great you have to make sure well if you are using spaz stix to use the mirror chrome backer the clear coat and the surface prep and it will turn out great and durable.

I think the admin on baja forum uk (Hicks) has done a few shells like that.
There are a couple of excellent painters on this forum ,why not go to the paint thread and ask there? I'm sure you will get an answer off them.

Heres one I did at the begining of the year.



Important tip: do not rough body up with scotch bright or wet and dry, the chrome shows every single little scratch.

Thanks guys I'm going to do it I've just got a new shell I will post it up wen it's done.... Ill ask for tips in the painters bit
