Hi everyone, first time post.
I opened up my diffs on the rampage for a some maintenance a few weeks ago to find out, after reassembly when I looked in the manual, that the washers/shims under the side gears are missing.

I called Redcat to tell them the problem and hope they could send me some replacements. First the guy asked why I opened the diffs like I wasn't allowed in there or something. I just told him for maintenance and wasn't any real problems other than they were leaking a little (found 2 ring gear screws very loose on one diff). He said I probably didn't need them and if they were in there it would make the diff too tight. I stated they are in the manual. Seems to me they should be there to help the o-ring sit and stay flat. Not sure if it would cause the gears to be tight or not, but many 1/8 scale diff use the same concept.
So, I'm asking anyone here if you think they should be there, anyone else missing these and/or should I call them again to ask for the shims?
Thanks
