Have acquired a Monster Truck, which was in need of some repairs, as part payment of a debt. It was in dire need of some TLC after hitting a tree stump at some speed by the previous owner. After replacing the obvious missing or broken parts(mostly at the rear end) was sadly disappointed that it still doesn't go. Engine starts fine and revs increase as I would expect, but no dirve to the wheels. Any ideas what to look for now.

Also make sure that the 2 speed carrier and shaft with the pinion gear that spins the back wheels are secure. Check the your clutch shoes to make sure that they are not worn.

Check three things:

1) make sure wheel squares are tight on the axles

2) Make sure gear carrier(should be upgrade to alloy if not already) is not rounded out on the layshaft. This happens to every monster model, and fg should really supply the alloy gear carrier as a standard part.

3) Check your diff ring gear, make sure the screws are tight. Also check your spur gear on the rear of the lay shaft to make sure it meshes with the ring gear.

If it is not one of these issues, it may be your clutch.
