Anyone mounted one of these yet on a Dune Runner. 'Bout the only place I see to put one is on the fuel tank if you want to see it with the body in place.

I would not mount it there... spillage.

I would put it on top of the radio box with some shoe goo, but then again I have not had the body on my DR in months... it being strictly on road any way, rollovers are pretty much a thing of the past for my baby :D

You would only need to check it once and awhile. I'd keep it under the body.

why not mount it on the side of the radio box down low where you could read it though one of the holes in the frame.

Picture of the Killer RC Voltmeter mounted on the side of the receiver box. It's upside down to keep the wire lead short into the box, and keep the thinnest end forward.

The failure modes are nice, there isn't any guessing if the RX/TX are not synced. The more checks, the better.

With this on the outside, I'm either removing the speaker for the Killer Bee, or glueing it to the outside of the RX box. I can't hear it where it is, plus the RX box is crammed. I should get some thin heat shrink, trim and solder the wires in there.

i put the speakers for the killer bee on the top of my radio boxes. mount them with sticky backed velcro that way when you want to take the top off the box you can just separate the velcro and get your lid out of the way and i can hear both of mine quite well that way.

Keeping the speaker inside the RX box for now since I have the Killer RC voltage monitor. Which I've sealed the ends with "Liquid Nails Silicon Glue", the same stuff I used to mount it.
