mutilator help needed

hi there everybody i'm new to large scale rc & i have just bought a second hand mutilator 6. i'm having problems when braking, the car does a 180 spin, seems to be breaking on 1 side.
any help would be much appreciated

try not braking so hard, and front brakes will help

thanx for reply buddy but surely there is a reason for this happening & there are no front brakes on the mutilator

its a commion design fault with a few cars braking slower and not so hard helps and front brakes help also

Hiya taxi.do you have front brakes? does the car make a noise from the rear wheels on take off? are both rear wheels driving? do you have disc rear brakes?

there are no front breaks, yes both wheels are driving & there don't seem to be any noise when taking off. yes car has rear disc brakes.

Hiya buddy,if you have rear disc brakes one is pulling too weak,or do you mean the inboard standard set-up?

its the inboard standard set-up i solved problem but after 20 mins of run time the breaks stopped working all together but i was having so much fun i ran the car for another 5 minutes or so (very silly i know) when i checked the car over after i noticed a bolt had worked its way loose & bent the break discs which then melted the gear fixing plate.:crying:
