@Whoduh youre correct, I only broke the A arm and the mud guard. Everything else survived which is crazy.


Here’s a update on the $360 5iveT, I added a few goodies.
I still need to rebuild the front diff and change the fuel lines.
I want to keep this one pretty much stock

That pipe looks like the stock oem losi tuned pipe.

Here’s a few update pics. I still have to install the kill switch and upgrade the radio. But this is it no other upgrades for this one

Did a few upgrades on my orange 5iveT...

I changed the clutch and upgraded the housing to a Bartalone -

Also I finally installed the Rc modified center diff and differential housing.
It was a pretty straight forward install but they should provide better instructions.


I didn’t apply any type of loctite on the diff mount, I’m wondering if I should??

And I fixed the broken A arm that broke when when a TREE jumped out in front of me at WOT


Installed some alloy Mud guards in the rear, these should last a long time. I previously had some Grafil guards but those got destroyed while bashing in some loose gravel.

And finally I changed out the steering servo arm

Looks good i have that diff its a good bit of kit
I made alloy guards fom rig they have taken a beeating and still strong

Orange 5iveT is running good. Lots of torque, it’s really lacking on the high end though....


The green 5iveT is running great. This one is so much faster then the orange one. Which is weird because they have the same engine....


Took both of them for a quick run and both are running great.

This I will have to check when I get home, but I’m assuming both have the SAME stock gearing for Version 1.5 of the 5iveT.

Tune..?
I tune both carbs by ear, they sing beautiful and idle all day long no prob.

Intake...? Green one has a crazy Stu
,the orange one has the TurleRacing intake and HPI foam filter

Exhuast...?
-Green has the Losi tune exhaust, orange has Bartalone race tune exhaust.

Diff fluid...?
- Both have 100k front & rear and 300k center.

I want to upgrade the engine, I was originally against this idea.
But then I started looking at a simple 32cc zenoah
Then I was starting at a custom OBR 32cc.... but now I’m stuck like chuck trying to decided weather I get a Alx engine or Rcmaxx ??‍

I’m torn between the Rcmax 65cc
