My 5iveT v1.5 basher build thread

I want to upgrade the engine, I was originally against this idea.
But then I started looking at a simple 32cc zenoah
Then I was starting at a custom OBR 32cc.... but now I’m stuck like chuck trying to decided weather I get a Alx engine or Rcmaxx ??‍

I’m torn between the Rcmax 65cc

Also wondering if the stock driveline will hold up fine or will I need to upgrade that too?

Yes a drive line upgrade would have to be done on an alx, rcmax phatdad ? proam diff housing?

Took the 5iveT’s out for a lil bash today, wish I had better areas in south Florida to play with them

Front and rear brace and front top plate

Fuel lines and a steering piece.

I’m really loving all these sick builds the forum members are doing.... you guys make it come together so easy ?

My biggest want for a long time has been to upgrade my engine to either a 55 or 65 supreme Rcmax.
Only thing stopping me is LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!! ?????????

Anywho I’ve made my first small purchase towards my new engine build...????

Upgraded diff housings and towers from Rcmax ????

My next order will be for complete IRP wheels for the 5iveT

I need to figure out who makes the best dog bones and cups for the 5iveT

So far I’m only buying what I can afford cash here and there I’m hoping that way when I spend 2k ish at ones I’m only in the dog house for a couple days instead of new locks who’s this at the door from the wife ??????
Might have to sleep in my van for a couple nights Who knows ??‍???


I’m hoping to have the whole kit complete by April / may ? I can’t wait ???????

I have the flm cups, team chase aluminum booted hubs and the phatdad drive shafts not sure what I’m gonna do for the front and rear axles yet, but I recommend everything I have gotten so far

What do you fellas use to remove strip screws out ?? I’m trying to remove the body panels and got a couple screws that wont budge....

Took the 5iveT’s out for a fun bash sesh with my son today

He was driving the green 5iveT and I was driving the orange one.... today the green one was EXTRA LOUD I was so impressed with it ??‍????

When I took the shell off to refuel, I figured out why it was sooo loud


The bracket that holds the other side of the exhaust snapped off ???‍
