I was so exited to run the 5iveT tomorrow. Now it won’t be running for several days till the switch arrives in the mail or I find one locally.
Just thankful it didn’t catch fire, this was a total rookie mistake. So happy I caught it in time. It could have been so much worse

So far the servos seem ok, although on one of them the wires melted a little but it doesn’t look like it burned all the way thru. Which sucks because they are only a week old

Today I learned a valuable lesson, check and double check all connections before hitting the power switch.

I Figured out what caused it. I crossed the power cables, total rookie mistake :poop:

Here is a few pics of the rims and tires.
The foams I have are the red hostile zero growth.
I haven’t ran the 5iveT yet so I don’t know how they perform. But I feel a little air space between the tire and foam, I really hope they don’t ballon because I don’t like taping my tires 7018C01C-D4CF-49E3-ABEE-A3EFAC74140C.jpegD00F73BB-49DE-4A9D-B9EC-DC28D744592C.jpeg7513D036-E5CC-43CA-9829-7584E22654FD.jpegFA2E77F1-6559-4971-9FEE-1BF3891181A6.jpeg9A56AD19-5EE9-43B5-8AF9-EEBF41B192CB.jpeg

I also installed the Bartalone skid mounts front & rear

Look close to see the difference in the ALLEN KEY HEAD.

Which size goes where ?

I didn’t know any better so I used all the bigger Allen bolts in the rear wheels and the smaller ones in the front wheels

Rounded head ( looks more flat ) are button heads go with the inner beadlock

ring(y). The reular cap screw go with the outer beadlocks (y)

Crap I did mine wrong for sure
I used all the cap screws for the rear wheels.
And the button heads for the front wheels ??‍♂️
I’ll fix it before I run it.

The AIR between the foam and tire has me more concern honestly, I’m hoping ones I run them the foam expands and fills in??

On a side note. I can’t wait to test out the Futaba 4PV
So many features but all I really need is good range, to be able to adjust endpoints, kill switch and some lights.

Well the power switch arrived today, installed it only to find out that I had also fried the throttle servo...which was brand new btw, it’s now toasted....

I installed the original throttle servo again, it’s working good for now. I guess I’ll buy another servo when the original gives out.....

So far this was a $180 lesson. It could have been a lot worse if the whole 5iveT would have burned down

Ok I need help here with Setting up the Futaba 4PV

- I want to know how I can turn the lights ON & OFF with the remote.

I have my Kill switch on channel 3
Lights are set up on channel 4

Using the “ SWITCH “ function in the 4PV I’m able to set up P1 or P2 button to kill my engine no problem.

BUT
When I try to set up either p1 or p2 to kill the lights on/off
It does nothing???

Thanx in advance fellas

I attached pictures of the instructions I’m following.

got another question;

When I punch it, the front tires sorta shake a lil bit on take off
Did I set something up wrong ? Or is this normal?

And great news, I officially have the full kit to rebuild the shocks :)
