thats a shame but cutting windows out aint a bad thing as it lets cool air in and hot air out ive cut all mine out apart from the windscreen
 
think it needs a bit more power raver lol

i bet its eating up the rear tyres now mate,,still looks a handfull but great fun
the tyres where meant for eating....i did some modifications and set up and
it can go straight....but still has many throttle to go on...most of the time i used half and maybe 70% of it . when i find time i will search for better set up

im using this info as a base setup for mine its for a fg evo but cant see why it wont work on your car

ps im not knocking your car in anyway mate i get it,,,loads of powers better than not enough any day trust me mines got more than enough power and its great fun and is a handfull as well but thats what i want

and if that was yours on just 70% throttle then that thinks going to be mega fast once you get the setup right have you thought about upping the gearing a little

no problem mate comments and other opinios are welcome . The engine is a full trevor simpson reed 28.5 with some modifications by me....it was not meant for an on road car as it revs from low ....the combination with the mod wt 257 and the malossi macsi make it run crazy from very low rpm...the throttle as you see reacts crazy . If i could fit the victory pipe as i have in my mt it would fly . I am not a racer (i am a modelist guy ) but i like to build my cars in the best way i can...for the set up i am in the search i do not have your experience as i like mt's most .

my engines a 23cc oddified zenoah with red race ignition and a stock wt 668 carb running a oddified ecu with 15 different map settings im using a stock fg pipe at the mo and a carbon filter the cars got over 6hp and will rev to @22-22500+

havnt got round to testing it with the new ignition or the new gears yet but its going to be great fun when i do lol

got a nice big wish/todo list as well

got a wt771 chokeless carb to fit
want a new pipe samba 7 titan god knows how im getting the cash for that but i need 1

some evo carbon bits
plus lots more

the 771 is a good carb but for the ts motor the mod 257 works better , i know because i tried both and the 813 and the 668 .603 and the 404 . The only carb i would change it for is the enforcer big bore or a barrel type carb .The enforcer is very rare to find and a barrel type needs a lot of work modification to fit . I have heard for the samba pipe that works good with engines like your type but still from what i have read - heard no one has ever tried on a ts motor. very expensive to buy and try by myself....as for the ignition i use the ts fan cover and the setting is now at zero degrees .some other ts guys told me to turn it to +4 degrees with 100 unleaded . I do not know still never tried this . (sorry if my english is bad)

with the ts fan cover you should also beable to retard the ignition as well giving more top end and taking some of the low down grunt thats causing it to spin around all the time away,,advancing it to +4 will make it even more livley and even harder to control,,,but id leave it be to be honest unless your 100% sure what afect changing the timing will do leave well alone as a ts engines not a cheap fix and replacing ones even worse

made a little modification on the stering system and now when the tyres are not cold it holds good . But i like melting the tyres on tarmac.....

So have you noticed any clear differences between the Genius and an FG Evo? I was initially impressed with the design of the Genius XR, definitely a work of art. Any handling differences you can pinpoint?
