My Losi 5ive B

Working on a few things today, got most of the front suspension together, again had to do some dremel massaging on the Taylor-RC sway bar plates as the hole spacing on the vitavon bulkheads are slightly wider than the Taylor-RC bulkheads. Also had to do some hardware wrangling as the vitavons aren't as wide where the shock tower mounts as the stock plastics, the same issue presented itself in the rear. I got the chassis drilled for the MGS performance EXO spine also. I also drilled the heads off of 4 M6 and 2 M5 flat head screws to use as bushings in factory chassis holes under the EXO spine. Next I figured out how much I needed to shorten the 5ive B tie rods to correctly line up with the 5ive T 2.0 steering Akerman rack I'm going with. I took about 1.5-2mm off of each tie rod, so really not much and I'll gain the better 5ive T 2.0 steering assembly.20220205_153139.jpg

Worked on the "B" again today, switched it to "T" arms, got the MGS exo-spine and skid plate installed. Assembled the shocks using blue "T" springs, I will be installing carbon fiber shock towers when they arrive to shave back a little weight from the alloy gearcases and braces, etc...

Working on the "B" some more today, swapped the Shocktowers to the Bonehead RC carbon towers, installed my Fast Eddy Droop screw bump stops, and installed my RCR brakes.

Got the radio box assembled and bolted in place, Dyed my MGS steering servo mount black, installed the steering mounts and my AGFRC servo, Got the Fonzie RC alloy steering servo links mocked into place. Used my HiTec servo tester/programmer to make sure of no binding in the steering linkage. So far so good.

Dude that servo tester/programmer is dope! Never seen one before. I am guessing you can see the servo "strain" under a bind condition?
