You may remember my FG Competition spec GT2, just in case you cant there it is in the backgroundof the first snapshot...

This is the other one for carpark bashing, a FG sportsline with Oddified engine, 2 speed, new body just finished, cable brakes front and rear F1 filter...weighs 6 kgs, much lighter than all the comp with all that alloy.

Shocks are wound down so it makes the body look low, has about 5mm of travel before it hits the skids. is raised up for driving just looks better low, real low.

GT2 wont get that low which is a pitty as it looks great low on this chassis.

Cheers mate , heading back to Melbourne, have checked out ozlargescale.
At least in melbourne we have lilydale on road track...I hope.
Packers have been and gone, did a magnificent job of everything and had perfect sized boxes for the porches. Cant say the same for my 1:1 engines though despite giving measurements the crates werent made right had to take manifolds etc off, brand new cosworth and swift gti race engine dissasembles on the back of a moving truck lifter...oh well as long as they make it home safe.

Cheers

So I'm guessing your not a to and from, if you are going back to Melbourne.
It's not your fault that your a Victorian.... lol.
I can't laugh, I'm a Crow Eater..
Now they are all baffled !
Have a safe trip back.

actually Im an honorary crow eater, spent 11 years there prior to London but melbourne before that so its been 17 years.

very nice and great to see a another oddified on road user, what size engine you running mate ive got ians own 2006 23cc 2bolt converted to 4 bolt still going strong and revs like a nitro with just under 6hp and fitted with lightened and balenced flywheel from ian and set up to run ecu

good luck with your move down under hope all goes well mate

been along time since any update.
been working on a real car for the last 12 months keeping me busy

and doing odd bits and pieces of 1:5 but finally got space to work and store them

Ive converted the SWB gt2 porsche to LWB alfa and used the short chassis, body and spare parts to start an electric conversion.
I have ,most of the parts just not enough time.
The other of road is a neutech electric 4wd thing. Bought it on ebay cheap to see what electric is like. goes like stink compared to the petrol...but only get 10-12 minutes before I need to swap the batteries out. but 4wd is so easy to control so Im keeping it for fun!

also found a place for the 1:10's

The yellow/blue utility is an old kids toy whose body has been fitted over a awd touring car chassis. the yellow black porsche is a tamiya re-release taisan shell over a shortened wheelbase TT02 to suit the short wheelbase shell.
not much to show really.
got to get the escort finished then I can play again

Mk1 escort fellas. had it since 1994 and this renovation got serious.
hasn't been much time for 1:5's bar a few bashing/braking sessions with the marder and thunderbolt.
