my short list of mods(2nd batch)

my list of new mods: im allready checking the mail for my goodies! i went with a 28.5 headkit. still not sure about what pipe im going to get. i know all the pro's and cons but i am leaning toward the X-can for this one. don't want anything sticking out or under the shell. something basic and small. really wanted to get new drive shafts but i think im just going to stay with the stockers and have back-ups.

i only have a few more alum bits to get before i send it out for anodizing. already have my color picked out.

Looks like you are getting ready to start using your spare's. lol


The DS boots tear realy easy, I prefer the HPI boots. Be very very careful installing them, use needle nose plires open the plires and slip the narrow end over the dog bone, that will be the best way to save you from being one short. lol

let me know what you want for the jp. i have had the ds boots and they didnt rip. i think they fit better then the hpi boots that i have on now. little tighter. i will se how they go but thanks for the heads up. i tried to do the wire wrap like i saw on yours but i didnt have thin enough wire.

got a box of goodies today. put the headkit on and some some more alum. the role cage looks really good. but it is kinda soft. not something you want to bash with out a body on. the front hub has a little play in it. maybee 2mm or so. i just put a small teflon washer in their and it snugged right up. but i do wish it was as perfect as everything else. the body mounts look great. i was able to make all new foam inserts too. old ones were shot. just waiting on my python air cleaner and ds axel boots to get it all back together. here are some pics for yins..LOL( "yins" is pa talk for "you guys")
