A great victory today for FTX Destroyer (converted to Punisher Fatboy) driver Andy Knight, his first outing with the car.

It was a classic sunny winter's day at the Northamptonshire track, as Andy's time's tumbled after each heat. In the winning A Final he totalled 25 laps over 20mins 32.153seconds, averaging 49.286 seconds per lap, and fastest being lap 23 at 44.101 seconds. The same final which Andy saw off challenges from MCD and Harm.

Nigel (Freeprawn Racing) fought against the elements today and finished 5th in the Semi Final.

All in all had great fun today at the track, great to see laps times improve from heat to heat, and broke my clutch bell (4th bell to date) in the Semi-Final =(

What we've found was my Nutech CNC clutch bell mount wasn't square to the clutch case. The top two horns are 2mm closer to the clutch casing than the lower two horns. Shims required.

Can't wait till next weekend!!

do away with the nutech clutchbell and run an fg. I've opened a brand new nuey bell and the shaft was so out of alignment it looked like I got a used one that took a side hit. about 1/4 inch out. I love my nuey and most of the parts they make but the clutchbells are absolute junk

Yes, I've been using FG's since breaking stock Nuey and CNC Nuey. But have since broke two FG's.

Have shimmed my cluch bell mount so that the difference between top two horns and bottom are about .1mm out. Fingers crossed this does the trick..as it's getting quite frustrating.

I've been told it's due to not correct shimming of the clutch bell mount, as the top two horns and bottom two horns are +1mm out.
