I haven't received it yet... so I apologize for newbie dumb questions.. it should be shipping tomorrow.

1) I want to swap air filter... replace the stock one to Losi setup. From I can find out, the stock one is poor. I'm not looking for performance, just looking for long life and clean air.

A) Looks like I'll need following: TGN 5ive DT1 Stock intake filter Part # DT1-2001. $9
B) TGN 5ive-T DT1 Stock outer filter element. Part # DT1-2002 $19.

QUESTION- Where do I buy or what is Part # for stock plastic Losi airbox for that will replace stock King? Or is A + B above all I need ?

Thanks

the stock air filter on the x2 is not that bad if you put a little filter oil on a few of the foam disc. and if you did want to replace it I would go with a after market one. just look up losi5 air filter on e-bay there are many good ones to choose from.

Ok, thanks. Will do. On stock filter, you oil ALL the foam elements or just inner ones? Do they make an outerwear to cover x2 stock? Thanks

Thank you very much !! I like those Team Fast Eddy videos, I subscribed to his channel, he's got good stuff. Thanks again for help !!!

Any issues with Killer Super Bee with the stock X2 radio ? I've read some people have had issues with it cutting it off for no reason?

Also, What weight you guys replacing diff oil with so it does not leak? 30k front and rear and 50k in center sound good?

Thanks

No killer bee works fine with stock radio 3rd channel set as it comes out of the package.

I run 10 front 30 middle and 3k rear works well for me, it's down to what type of track or surface you run on and what suits your driving style

I run 7 front 10 center and 5 rear . I mostly run on short grass or hard dirt and it works well for me. I can get the rear end to power slide around corners nicely.

Thanks guys... can't wait until Friday, delivery should be here then !!!

For future reference (anyone stumbles on this)... I found the whole air filter assembly part #: LOSB5022 . About $18.

Now I'm looking for some street or cheap tires/wheels... only thing I'm finding is ebay about $25 /tire+wheel combo, that seems high... and I haven't found ANY street setups for it yet.

Lots of learning curve. lol

I too run the thicker 100K center, 30K front and 10K rear. The center diff. unloads to the front wheels too easily with anything thinner in the center diff. I am amazed that some are getting by with 10K center oil, that is 1/10 scale thin!!!! It should turn the front tires into pizza cutters with oil that thin.

I agree I was thinking the same thing I had tried many different diff ratio and on the other forum the 30K front 100K Center and 10K rear was the most popular set up and boy what a difference it makes. The center diff runs cooler does not unload to the front and fast and super great for when you are just blimping the throttle on curves.

I just order 30k, 100k, 10k from amazon. Give that a go.

Any you guys upgraded the battery that goes into car? How long does stock one last? If upgraded, to which one?

Thanks again
